Dr. David Kruger

Dr. David Kruger is an orthopedic spinal surgeon with Advanced Orthopedics New England. He is an attending physician at St. Francis Hospital, Medical Director of the Spine Institute of Connecticut, and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Kruger received his doctorate in medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed his postgraduate training at the Henry Ford Hospital and the University of Michigan, Biomechanics, Trauma, and Sports Medicine Laboratory. He completed his spinal surgery fellowship at the State University of New York, Health Science Center. Dr. Kruger is a specialist in spinal surgery.

Physician Associate– Jennessa Battaini, PA-C
Jennessa is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA and has an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Elon University. She has a background in sports and family medicine and is excited to continue her journey in orthopedics at Advanced Orthopedics New England!
Jennessa BattainiPhysician Associate– Taylor Kelley, PA-C
Taylor is a graduate from the Springfield College Physician Assistant Program, with a Master of Science degree. She has an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Providence College, where she was a four-year member of the Providence College Women’s Soccer team.
After completing her pre-graduate hours at Advanced Orthopedics New England with Dr. Kimmel, she joined the practice in 2018 and has been working with Dr. Kruger and Dr. Fantry treating many orthopedics injuries.
