Dr. Wasserlauf, specializing in sports medicine, surgery of the shoulder and knee, and joint replacement surgery, is personally invested in his patients’ outcomes. He employs non-operative treatment methods, when possible, to take advantage of the body’s ability to heal itself. When surgery is necessary, he is skilled in minimally invasive techniques for shoulder, knee, and sports injuries. As a skilled surgeon, he utilizes the most advanced techniques for joint preservation and joint replacement surgery.

Physician Associate– Kristin Overton, PA-C
Kristin has been a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics since 2013, working at Advanced Orthopedics New England in conjunction with Dr. Wasserlauf treating both sports related injuries as well as many general orthopedic problems.
Kristin has previously worked in Neurosurgery for 15 years, in both the Hartford and New Haven areas, treating many spinal conditions. For the past 20 years she has been an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program.
She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Anatomy. She then graduated from Quinnipiac University, receiving her Physician Assistant certificate as well as a Master’s degree in Health Science. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
